1. Acceptance

By using the service, creating an account, uploading files, starting a job, buying a subscription, or buying a job credit, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Service description

The service provides web-based PDF tools. Current features include:

• compressing PDF files; • merging PDF files; • converting supported office and text formats to PDF, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ODT, ODS, ODP, RTF, plain text, HTML, and CSV.

Split PDF and PDF to JPG may be added later. Image-to-PDF conversion is not supported in v1.

Office-to-PDF conversion may use LibreOffice or similar tools. Conversion can produce layout differences. We do not guarantee pixel-perfect output.

3. Accounts and authentication

Authentication uses email and one-time passcodes. We do not store passwords.

You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity under your account or session.

4. Files and user responsibility

You are responsible for the files you upload and for ensuring that you have the right to process them.

We do not review file contents before processing. You must not upload illegal content, malware, copyrighted material without rights, or personal data of others without a valid legal basis.

The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

5. Free tier

Free and anonymous use may be subject to daily quotas, file-size limits, operation limits, and shorter retention.

Anonymous/free files are normally retained for 24 hours and then deleted automatically.

6. Paid plans

The Pro plan may be offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The current price, billing period, taxes, and available features are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. The CMS and checkout screen are the source of truth for current prices.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, EU deployment prices are shown in EUR.

You can cancel future renewal through the account billing flow or by contacting support. Cancellation does not automatically refund already processed periods unless required by law or stated at checkout.

7. Job credits

A job credit is a one-time purchase for a specific above-quota job or paid operation. The current price and conditions are shown at checkout.

A job credit is consumed when the job starts or when the paid operation is made available, depending on the checkout flow.

8. EU withdrawal and refunds

If you are an EU consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.

For services and digital content that start during the withdrawal period, we may ask for your express consent to begin immediately and for your acknowledgement of the consequences for the withdrawal right. If the service has already been fully performed with your consent and acknowledgement, the withdrawal right may no longer apply. If only part of the service has been performed, a proportionate amount may be charged where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

9. Pricing changes

We may change prices. Changes do not affect already purchased job credits.

For subscriptions, price changes apply to future renewal periods only after reasonable notice or as required by the payment provider and applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay, attack the service, or create legal or security risk. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

11. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or perfect conversion quality.

We may change, limit, or discontinue features. We will try to avoid materially reducing paid features during an active paid period without notice.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost business, loss of data caused by your failure to download files within the retention period, or misuse of the service.

For paid users, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

13. Indemnity

If you use the service on behalf of a business, you will indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your files, or your breach of these Terms.

This clause does not apply to consumers where prohibited by mandatory law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by (staging) French law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.

Consumer users may also have access to local courts and consumer-protection mechanisms required by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, usually by email for registered users or through the service.
